For those unfamiliar with the show, “Teen Titans GO!” is a reboot of the original early 2000’s “Teen Titans” TV series. It abandoned the original’s serial-based plots and anime inspired style, for colorful flash animation art and quippy pop culture references and poop jokes. While the show has received generally mixed reception over its run, Warner Bros. Animation has decided to bring it to the big screen with “Teen Titans GO! To The Movies.” Can it be better than its source material?

Everything you’ve heard is true. “Sorry To Bother You” is incredible. Boots Riley’s directorial debut is a contradiction in and of itself. A film advocating against capitalism that is smashing box office records. It’s a film that shouldn’t exist in this day and age, and the fact that it does makes it all the better.

In a way, the first Ant-Man film was a throwback to the early days of the Marvel Cinematic universe when it was released in 2015. It was a solo film with smaller stakes that introduced the world to a bizarre hero. It was good, but not great. And it was soon followed up with its main character appearing in a team up film. However, will Ant-Man and Wasp continue to follow in the footsteps of their Marvel Cinematic Universe counterparts, and produced a sequel better than the first?

Coming 14 years after the original, “Incredibles 2” enters into a world saturated with iron men and American captains. When the original was released, super hero films were occasional and not very good. The world has changed a lot since then, most evident by the fact that this sequel releases just a few months after “Infinity War,” a giant space opera of a super hero film. Do the Parr’s and their world still work well in this new day and age?

If the news that horror director J.A. Bayona would be tackling the next “Jurassic World” movie has you excited, it would be understandable. The “Jurassic” sequels have lost the scare factor that dinosaurs on the loose provided so well back in 1993, and this new direction could have injected some life into a series that needed it.

A fan would be forgiven if their excitement level for “Solo” isn’t as high as other Star Wars films. The behind the scenes turmoil, coupled with the confusing idea of doing an origin story for a nameless smuggler makes this film seem like a very odd thing for Lucasfilm to focus on. But now its out, the marketing, behind the scenes and weirdness has passed, and now all that remains is the film itself. Should you have a bad feeling about this?

Ryan Reynolds seems to love Deadpool and hate himself. Not literally, of course, but the amount of pot shots he’s taken at his career and persona are easily entering the millions at this point. “Just getting to know people. You never really know who you’ll meet. I’ll never forget my first year here; there was a girl sitting over by the pizza bar when we had one and she was in tears. I went over to her to see what was wrong. I asked her if she was home sick, which that was why she was crying. So I sat there and talked to her and told some of my corny jokes and we laughed. Then the next day she came back in and we talked again and ever since that day I just wanted to make people feel good because a lot of these students here are a long way from home and I understand that because I've been away from home too. And for some to show that they care and just want to comfort you and just want to make you feel good, which in return makes me feel good. I also enjoy getting to know everyone too. I’ve been working here for eight years. I’ve watched two full classes graduate from Longwood. I’ve meet a lot of good people here. I really enjoyed coming to work and just talking to people and getting to know them. I’m just glad I’m able to make people feel welcomed here and have an impact on people in a positive way. I enjoy my job but i also enjoy all of you guys too. Some days i’ll come to work in a bad mood and people will stop by and say hi and also tell me to feel better, and that makes my day a little better because it shows me that people do care,” said Brown.

There is a lot riding on this. While one could give a convincing argument that Marvel could continue on indefinitely, it would say a lot if “Infinity War” flopped. After all, it’s arguably one of the most ambitious films ever made, and it’s certainly Marvel’s most ambitious. With the Russo brothers directing their third film for the comic studio and turning out a massive flick with one of the biggest character rosters and budgets in history, when the dust settles, is “Infinity War” on top?
