Will Smith (“Men in Black,” “I, Robot”) and Martin Lawrence’s (“Boomerang,” “Death at a Funeral”) dynamic duo have returned, 25 years after Michael Bay’s directorial debut and 17 years after the so bad its good action cult classic sequel. Approval. Acceptance. Attention. This trifecta is the outcome to the exaggeration of the not so complex approach of persuading like-minded individuals to adhere to their political concerns that likely go blatantly unnoticed by elitists and is a more commonly used tactic than you may think, especially for the political climate of Virginia.

There are few, if any, people in the world who can evoke the same emotions as Fred Rogers. Not happiness, sadness, empathy or tears, but calmness and contentness. The feeling that, for a few brief moments, when he talks directly to you through the television screen, everything will be okay. The idea of taking on a film about a man like that seems like a daunting, harrowing task. Maybe even impossible.
