In this week's Student Government Association (SGA) meeting, multiple students were sworn into office.

In New Business, SGA President Brandon Bowen officiated the proceedings as Executive Vice President Bovat, Executive Senator Hernandez-Luna, Senator Brown, Graduate Student Association Representative Pecoraro and Freshmen Representatives Adomako and Selhorst took the oath.

The students will now assume their roles after being sworn in and will begin their positions effective immediately.

Also in New Business, SGA Executive Historian Cole Pillow and the senate voted in favor of making Guitar Club an official club on campus. The club can now hold official meetings and events.

In the Advisors' Report, Dean Cheryl Steele announced that the grand opening of the Clark Intercultural Center will be on Monday, September 21 at 5:00 p.m. on Main St. behind the Health and Fitness Center. Members of the Clark family, President Reveley and Longwood Faculty will be in attendance.
