In this week’s Student Government Association (SGA) meeting, it was announced that there will be a celebration for the Class of 2020 prior to Commencement.
Webmaster Mason Patrick announced that a form will be sent out to seniors soon to fill out about a celebration that will occur before their graduation ceremony. The new undergraduate ceremony is scheduled for October 10.
In the Advisers’ Report, Dean Cheryl Steele announced that the Citizen Leader Awards will begin on social media on Sunday, April 19. Award winners will be announced on a continuous basis online.
In the Vice President’s Report, Catherine Swinsky announced that the swearing in of new officers on SGA will be on Sunday, April 19 at 4 p.m. All newly elected officials are required to attend.
In all of their reports, each member of Executive Senate thanked everyone for a great year, and wished the new SGA luck in their new roles, which they will assume at the next meeting.
The next SGA meeting with the new Senate will be on Tuesday, April 21 at 3:45 p.m. on Zoom.
