“What du ya use, a one-dollar bill?
“A one-dollar bill? Really, Thomas a one-dollar bill? Who do you think I am a homeless man or something! You know I used a dollar bill, ONCE, and after that I felt like I needed to rethink everything, you know? Geezus! A one-dollar bill. I’ll only use a 100, 50, or if I’m really desperate, a 20.”
PacMan was visiting us because he had his court hearing this week. I mentioned a few articles ago that he and Hendrix were charged with possession. PacMan decided to get his beard trimmed, he thought it would make him look less foreign, and therefore less dangerous in the minds of others.
Hendrix shaved his Afro because the police were looking for a “black male with [a] large afro.” I kid you not, this was what I gathered of his defense from what he initially told me: “If I had an Afro, wouldn’t it have grown longer and not be this short?”
The whole situation was stupidity at its finest.
Anyway so PacMan was here Sunday night, and he asked me what I thought of the candidates. I told him I thought we were reverting back to slavery, “and what’s worse some don’t even realize it. They want the government to take responsibility for their own lives, tell them what to do. The only way to live is through disengagement. Forget the government, if you do that, then you are free, and revert back to an adamite way of living.” Then again, I had no idea what I was talking about.
I asked him if he felt minorities were being oppressed, being a minority himself. This is how he responded: “Ever hear the quote by Jim Morrison ‘whoever controls the media controls the mind’ those people who honestly believe that blacks, Mexicans, women are being oppressed are mindless, and are victims of the media exercising their power and blowing everything out of proportion. Discriminated against, yes, but not oppressed, if they think their oppressed they should go to the middle east or North Korea or something”
“Its like ‘Easy Rider.’”
“Uh huh yeah uh huh yeah.”
