FARMVILLE, VA- Police responded to a report of an armed robbery last Saturday evening at the Comfort Inn located at 2108 South Main Street.
Farmville Police responded to the business at 11:13 pm on January 3. An employee reported that a customer had just been robbed and was awaiting an officer’s arrival in the lobby.
According to the victim, the suspect had placed a handgun to his head and forced him back into the room demanding an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing.
The suspect was described as a black male, 5’ 7” tall, mustache, goatee, wearing a black jump suit, with a black hoodie covering his head.
The suspect was seen leaving the scene in a grey Ford minivan displaying Virginia license XAC-8137.
