'Pretty Little Liars': Spencer Betrayed Again?

Detective Wilden is the main suspect of this week’s episode of“Pretty Little Liars.” It starts with him being extremely sketch as he shoves CeCe into his car right in front of Hanna and her mom, Ashley, who is quick to notice his creepy stare toward Hanna.

When Ezra comes back, Aria still conflicted over the kiss between her and Wes. Oh, it must be hard handling two beautiful brothers that both want you, Aria. Her mixed emotions only get worse after having a brief conversation with “Mrs. FitzScary,” aka Ezra’s evil mother.

She sounds innocent enough trying to tell Aria how difficult it must be standing by Ezra as he is consumed with his new son, Malcolm, and the son’s mother, but we all know she just wants to scare Aria away. It almost works until later when Aria walks in on Ezra fighting with his mom. His mom had tried to give a gift to Malcolm despite being the reason he was hidden away for seven years.

For some reason, witnessing this fight makes Aria and Ezra closer than they’ve been since he got back. I guess having a common enemy really does bring two people together.

Paige is still continuing to hunt down A by looking for the Queen of Hearts costume that A wore on Halloween, this time with Emily and Hanna tagging along. While Emily sneaks the purchase history of the costume, Hanna distracts the owner who happens to be Paige’s ex- girlfriend. Who hasn’t Paige hooked up with in that town?

Meanwhile, Detective Wilden rudely interrupts Ashley, who is eating dinner by herself, and he says that Hanna’s accusations of him being with Ali are going be the end of his career and she doesn’t care that it is.

Rejection doesn’t settle with him very well, though, so he decides to follow her from the restaurant and pull her over after seeing her have a drink with her dinner. Once again, Ashley does not care and when she gets back in her car, he shouts, “Either you shut Hanna up or I will!” This is when Ashley decides to hit him with her car (cue the applause).

The only downside to the beautiful moment is that she has no idea that the entire thing was caught on his police car’s camera. When she gets home, all she chooses to say to Hanna is “I think I might have killed Detective Wilden.” Well, she might not have killed him, but she sure did injure him.

However, that might not be the scariest bit of news, because when they go back to the scene of the crime, he’s gone.

Wren comes to talk to Spencer after their disastrous road trip and he confesses that he came to her because he felt he might have a chance with her now that Toby is out of the picture. They walk around talking, and for the first time since her breakup there is a genuine smile from Spencer. After they kiss, Spencer goes home completely happy, practically with hearts in her eyes until her sister simply tells her, “No company is better than bad company.”

Emily decides to go see CeCe, who is hastily packing her bags. She tells Emily that she believed Wilden was the one who killed Ali because he got her pregnant and right before leaving she confesses it was Melissa Hastings who took the picture of Allison, Wilden and CeCe on the boat.

Melissa’s sketchiness is heightened when the episode ends and Spencer is locked in her steam shower by A with the temperature over 100 degrees, and a message written on the mirror warning her away form Wren.

Is it sibling rivalry or just another battle with A? Looks like it might be both.
