Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino Reportedly Fired

According to ESPN.com, the ex-Falcon Head Coach Bobby Petrino was reportedly fired by Arkansas. Petrino was put on paid leave last week for not telling his boss quickly enough that a 25-year old female football program employee was riding with him during a motorcycle accident on April 1.

Later the next day, it was confirmed that the female was Arkansas Volleyball player Jessica Dorrell. Petrino also reportedly admitted to having an inappropriate relationship with the employee. The investigation is still "ongoing" but punishments could include a suspension or firing.

For four years, Petrino has made the Arkansas Razorbacks a powerhouse in the Southeastern Conference, leading them to a 34-17 record. Last year, Arkansas ranked number 5 by the end of the season, finishing with an 11-2 record. Many fans however are unhappy with the decision. Around 200 fans gathered on the Arkansas campus Monday night to express their support for Coach Petrino. A Facebook page called "Team Save Coach Petrino" was even created, recruiting over 17,000 people by Monday night.
