The Longwood women's golf team finished eighth at the Lady Paladin Invitational after shooting a final round score of 318 Sunday. The Lancers' total 54-hole score was 958 (317-323-318) at the tournament hosted by Furman University. The event was held at the Furman Golf Club in Greenville, S.C. Out of the 15 teams that competed in the tournament, the University of South Florida won. The layout at Furman Golf Club was 6,160 yards and played as a par-72. Charlotte Lorentzen of Georgia State University won individual medalist honors. Sophomore Amanda Steinhagen was the highest finishing Lancer with rounds of 81-74-78—233, tying her for 10th individually. Eighty-one golfers competed at Furman.
