Ben Maitland
Sports Editor (6-2):
-No. 3 Alabama over No. 14 Arkansas: Trent Richardson's brilliance cannot be stressed enough. Always expect him to break out for a lot of yards on the ground. He leads the Crimson Tide to a big win over the Razorbacks down South.
-No. 8 Texas A&M over No. 7 Oklahoma St.: The Aggies pick up the victory at home amidst the ever-changing landscape of the Big 12. Hopefully, the conference discussion doesn't steal the thunder from this matchup.
-Packers over Bears: I picked the Pack over the Saints in Week 1 and they prevailed. Look for more of the same against the Bears. This is one of the best rivalries in NFL history and another chapter is written on Sunday.
-Redskins over Cowboys: Again, one of the most highly debated and contested rivalries in the game. Here's hoping that the ‘Skins hold it together for four quarters.
Peter Mancuso
Asst. Sports Editor (6-2):
-No. 3 Alabama over No. 14 Arkansas: Anything is possible in the SEC, but Alabama is a strong team. Richardson will continue to run wild in as close one.
-No. 8 Texas A&M over No. 7 Oklahoma St.: The Aggies will have the crowd behind them to help slow down the No. 1 pass offense in the FBS. It starts with the pass rush.
-Bears over Packers: Chicago saw a high powered offense last week and will be ready for the Packers' attack. It will be a close division showdown.
-Cowboys over Redskins: If the Cowboys can protect Romo he will eat up the suspect secondary, especially if Landry doesn't play.
Dr. Tim Pierson
Vice President of Student Affairs (5-3):
-No. 3 Alabama over No. 14 Arkansas: ‘Bama may be as good as any team in the country and the Tide will roll over the Hogs!
-No. 7 Oklahoma St. over No. 8 Texas A&M: This may be the best game of the week and while the Aggies are in the midst of changing conference affiliation, the Cowboys have been focused on their best season since Barry Sanders ran in their backfield. Like OSU in a tight one.
-Packers over Bears: ‘Da Bears laid an egg in New Orleans last week and the Pack will keep them in the hen house this week. Packers by 14!
-Redskins over Cowboys: Washington is off to a great start and I believe Romo heroics may have been spent in last week's win. Redskins by 10!
