Why did you want to be a staff writer for The Rotunda?
Well initially it was assigned by my professor, but I found it fun and exciting to see your name in the paper right above something that you've worked so hard on.What movie do you hate that everyone else loves?
"Napoleon Dynamite"…everyone says it is hilarious, I literally fell asleep during the first 30 minutes.
What is the funniest word?
It's not very creative but, "canoodle." I think it's funny and cute at the same time.
What is the best invention ever?
Good parents and friends.
Who is the most famous person you have ever met?
Seriously, no one. Apparently Steve Carrell came to my summer job one day, but I wasn't there that day.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would in NOT be?
That would have to be Alaska…its way too cold for pretty dresses and picnics.
What's the longest you could survive in the wilderness with just a knife and a roll of duct tape?
I would like to think that movies like "Castway" have prepared me for things like this, but probably as long as one can live without water. If there is a stream and fruit, then forever (or at least until I die of old age).
If you could know one thing about the future, what would it be?
I would like to know where I am going to work after I graduate so I can focus my attention in one place.
What is your current ringtone?
"My Boo" by Usher and Alicia Keys
What did your last text message say?
K Love you
What would you do with your last $5?
Oh gosh… I guess I would invest it in a very small company that would increase in size at an amazing rate overnight, then my problems would be solved.
Baby cows. Cute animal, or tasty meal?
Definitely cute animal!
Have you ever killed anything other than a bug?
NO! I don't even like to kill other peoples' hopes. One time I asked my dad if I could put salt on a slug that I saw on the patio; he looked at me and said, "If you want to, Reena" (with those Daddy eyes). I picked the salt up and ran outside. I just stared at the slug for about a minute. I then went back inside, realizing that I didn't have the heart to even kill a slug. My dad was proud.
Tell me one thing about yourself that you don't want readers to know?
That's silly, but I guess it would be embarrassing if the readers knew that I was really a blonde…just kidding I've never dyed my hair, and I've also never released embarrassing secrets to print.
Fill in the blank: I wish I could:
live up to my full potential.
