CHI Burning 2015

Longwood's oldest service organization CHI hosts its annual CHI Burning in the spring of 2015, where senior members of CHI are revealed. The group's purpose is to encourage the spirit of collaboration between students in every aspect of college life, embodying the citizen leadership that Longwood teaches.

In this week’s Student Government Association (SGA) meeting, the Senate discussed the Citizen Leader Awards, and Treasurer Claire Lesman announced that there will be a Student Finance Committee (SFC) meeting this week.

In Announcements, Freshman Class Representative Gabrielle Selhorst announced that Elwood’s Cabinet is open on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

In the Adviser’s Report, Dean Cheryl Steele emphasized the importance of nominating peers for the Citizen Leader Awards. The form was sent to students in an e-mail, and the QR code is in the bios of the SGA social media accounts.

Also, in the Adviser’s Report, Dr. Tim Pierson warned students of inclement weather that will be heading to campus on Thursday and urged students to be safe.
