News Release from Lancer Production

Halloween is the time every year when students come to hear the Ghost Stories of Longwood from Anthropology Professor Dr. Jim Jordan. Every year Lancer Productions sponsor’s Tales from the Underground which takes a close look at the history of Longwood and some of the spirits and former students that haunt our most infamous buildings. Dr. Jordan’s Tales from the Underground presentation will take place on Tuesday October 28th at 7pm in Jarman Auditorium.

For years Dr. Jordan has been making his annual presentation to students and it is always a big success. Students are able to learn some of the history surrounding the place they call home and they are able to listen to some of the haunting stories. For some audience members after listening to Dr. Jordan’s presentation they will definitely not to be able to sleep at night.

Following Dr. Jordan’s presentation Lancer Productions will hold a Bonfire and Haunted Hayrides around campus beginning at 9:30pm on Iller Field and refreshments will be served. The Bonfire and Haunted Hayrides are for students only but the presentation by Dr. Jim Jordan is open to Faculty, Staff, and members of the Longwood Community.
